The Rundown: Peter returns to the city as he and Harry prepare for war with the Kingpin.

Harry comes to see Peter and family after revealing to him that he’s still alive and he brings Jonah and Ben along with him. At the same time, the council of Mysterios meet to discuss Gwen’s actions and how they are now committed to war against Fisk and his forces. Peter returns to the city with Harry and discovers someone living in his former apartment.
After the duo depart, Mary Jane discovers that Richard is missing. After getting a text from Felicia, Richard sneaks back to the city and decides to come to her rescue. Unfortunately, the young hero will discover too late that he can’t trust everyone.
The Story: Hickman continues to craft an entertaining adventure in this series although many elements of it were mildly predictable. I love the dialogue between the characters and how Peter continues to grow more comfortable in his role as Spider-Man. I like that Hickman continues to take his time with the story and build the world and stakes for the characters. The only drawback I had was the Richard storyline and how I could see where it was going from the beginning. It will be interesting to see where the story goes from here.
The Art: Checchetto delivers stunning art throughout the issue. I love the character designs and the overall visual style of the issue. Everything and everyone looks amazing on every page and panel.
